I’ve been a gambler for the last fifteen years. Admittedly, for the most part I’ve been pretty casual, mostly because I feel like if I let myself go I’ll just end up bankrupting myself. My rule of thumb is to never spend more than a hundred on gambling per month regardless of how much I win, and so far that’s helped curb any sort of addiction. Anyway, I’m getting off-track. My point is that I may have gambled only a little, but I’ve gambled for a reeeeaally long time. I’ve seen trends come and go, and I’ve seen the market change. I was there when online casinos first became a big thing, with their awkward ads and hilariously bad designs, and I’m still here years later gambling in those very same places, now reinvented for a modern audience.

The thing is, during all this time, I never really managed to find myself a site, or a blog, which I managed to truly love. My intention was to find a place that I could follow regularly, a place that would evolve alongside me as a gambler, a place that would keep me informed with all the latest news about the casino world while also not being afraid to share a few opinions, a place that was ready to give me a hand when I struggled and wasn’t afraid to ask questions to its readers when those were worth asking. And let me tell you, I went through a whole ton of blogs and websites, but most of them were pretty bad. I was complaining about this to my friend a few days ago, and she said “You know, instead of whining about it, why don’t you just make your own?” And you know what – she’s right. After fifteen years in offline and online casinos, I’ve got enough experience to finally create my dream blog myself and help out others the way I wanted to be helped years ago.
